Responsibilities
Enter bills in Sage and submit for manager approval
Record and process ACH payments to vendors
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
Handle all Account Payable inquiries professionally and promptly
Generate and process 1099’s
Record ACH deposits and apply payments against open invoices
Prepare month-end journal entries
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist with gathering data and documentation for audits
Provide general support to the accounting department team as needed
Communicate professionally and courteously via phone, e-mail, and mail
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in accounting or related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
Proficient computer skills, including strong excel knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dependable, self-motivated, and accountable
Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative
Cooperative, team-player attitude
Willingness to learn, grow, and expand industry knowledge
Preferred
Experience with Sage accounting software
NetSuite experience preferred
Prior construction industry accounting experience is a plus
