Responsibilities
Draft legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials
Request, organize, and summarize medical and non-medical records
Prepare deposition and trial materials, including subpoenas and exhibits
Manage case files and deadlines across multiple matters
Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel
Support attorneys with trial prep, document production, and motion practice
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and Paralegal Certificate (ABA-accredited)
6+ years of litigation defense experience (medical malpractice preferred)
Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems (e.g., iManage)
Experience with time and billing software (e.g., Aderant)
Ability to meet billable hour requirements and work overtime as needed
Preferred
Medical background or experience reviewing medical records is a plus
