Required

PhD in Environmental Engineering. Selected applicant must have PhD conferred upon hire
The successful applicant is expected to have a background in membrane processes for water and wastewater treatment and a comprehensive, system-level understanding of the interplay between water and energy systems
Candidates must have a background in experimental approaches and data analysis for pilot-scale membrane-based water treatment systems, modeling and optimization of desalination and/or energy systems, and techno-economic assessment of advanced water treatment systems

Preferred

Previous history of published research in peer-reviewed journals
Previous history of conference presentations
Experience with laboratory management and interacting with stakeholders within and beyond the University of Arizona
