Responsibilities

Perform visual inspection of electronic assemblies for conformance to IPC-J-STD-001 class 3
Perform review of assembly documentation for completeness and clarity
Utilize work instructions provided by manufacturing engineers to collect data

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in an electronic circuit board manufacturing environment
Knowledge of ESD control practices
Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of First Article Inspections (FAIs)
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other aerospace/defense quality systems
Skilled in using inspection tools (microscope, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.)
Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work independently
Must be a US citizen or legal permanent US resident

Preferred

Aerospace/defense contracts experience
IPC-A-610 Certification
IPC J-STD-001 Certification
Understanding of IPC WHMA-A-620
Associate degree in industry related field
Experience with NASA 8739 and IPC space addendum
