Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze AP aging reports, payment histories, and other financial data for management review
Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice receipt, coding, approval workflows, and payment runs
Manage AP-related month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain strong supplier relationships, resolve escalated payment disputes, and ensure adherence to contractual terms
Identify opportunities for automation and workflow enhancements; implement new technologies and best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls
Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable or finance operations, including leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of AP processes, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools
Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and implement technology solutions
Excellent communication and vendor management skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with McLeod TMS
Familiarity with automation tools and AP workflow solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
