Senior Business Development Executive

The Senior Business Development Executive will lead strategic business development and revenue growth in the EV charging and power electronics markets, leveraging an established network to drive business growth and manage the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a national sales strategy to expand presence within the EV charging and power electronics market
Leverage an existing professional network to open new opportunities with fleet operators, OEMs, utilities, and energy developers
Drive business growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing deals for charging hardware, power systems, or grid-integrated solutions
Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and lead qualification through proposal, negotiation, and post-sale relationship management
Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to align technical capabilities with customer requirements
Represent the company at industry trade shows, EV infrastructure events, and conferences to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and CRM records to support strategic planning

Qualification

B2B sales experienceEV charging knowledgeTechnical literacy in EVSECRM proficiencyNegotiation skillsWork autonomouslyPresentation skillsRelationship-building skills

Required

3+ years of B2B sales experience in EV charging, power electronics, grid infrastructure, or clean energy sectors
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in hardware and infrastructure projects ($500k+ contract value range)
Strong technical literacy in EVSE systems, DC fast charging, power conversion, grid connectivity, or energy storage
Established connections with EV charger OEMs, CPOs, utilities, and fleet electrification companies (bonus)
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, scaling environment

Preferred

Background in power electronics, electrical distribution, or energy project development
Familiarity with NEVI funding programs, fleet electrification grants, and utility rebate structures
Experience coordinating channel partnerships, distribution agreements, or OEM collaborations
CRM proficiency (HubSpot, or equivalent)
