Responsibilities
Assists the medical technologist in coordination and performance of clinical laboratory work
Proficiently obtains blood samples from patients of all ages while maintaining an attitude of courtesy and professionalism
Processes and accessions specimens and associated paperwork according to procedure
Qualification
Required
Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
1 year working experience in a clinical laboratory environment, including phlebotomy experience with adults, children, and infants
Preferred
Coursework/Training: Technical coursework in clinical laboratory science, phlebotomy, or medical assistance
Experience with clinical tasks similar to those of this position
