Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Sr. Research Assistant based in Cleveland, who will work under the direction of a faculty researcher or senior research staff to conduct operational and technical activities essential for research. The role involves developing data collection tools, overseeing data collection, analyzing data, and conducting surveys in participants' homes.

Responsibilities

Develop data collection tools based on understanding of underlying study design

Participate in developing standard operating procedures for one or more studies

Design and set up standard operating procedures

Oversee data collection

Analyze data under general oversight and make data-driven recommendations

Oversee day-to-day activities and provide training for new staff on study

Conduct literature searches to pull background material and identify information relevant and applicable to research interest

Independently scheduling appointments and making reminder/confirmation calls

Completing phone and in-person survey interviews from one adult and one child in the family home

Taking measures of participants height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, and a finger stick for diabetes, at the participants home

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Two years of related experience
