Law Practice
Responsibilities
Managing caseload and/or supporting Partners and colleagues on personal injury and other defendant insurance litigation matters
Conducting depositions
Drafting and reviewing correspondence, reports and litigation documents
Maintaining caseload in an organized manner and in accordance with client quality and service level agreements
Developing an understanding of the client's, and our wider business, and how the two fit together
Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Handling of case relevant motion practice
Attendance at court proceedings
Qualification
Required
New York Bar admitted junior attorney (ideally 2 to 3 years) with pre-litigation and litigation work experience and strong deposition capabilities
The ability to run your own caseload and work in an autonomous fashion
Strong academic record
Capable of analysing and applying legal principles to a complex factual scenario, with a view to achieving a commercial resolution for the client
Able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day-to-day issues
The ability to think and act quickly and under pressure for clients who find themselves in crisis
Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team
