ALTEN is seeking an Electrician I for their Buchanan Dam Project, focused on fiber optics infrastructure work. The technician will support conduit installation, fiber cable pulls, and camera system upgrades while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Install and mount 1.5” EMT conduit: run, bend, drill anchors, and secure with Unistrut
Pull fiber optic cable through installed conduit (no splicing or termination required)
Support camera replacement activities (installation support only; telecom team will handle terminations/swaps)
Operate aerial platforms, Sky Track, and other large equipment (training provided if needed)
Enter confined spaces as required, using site-issued LOTO lock
Ensure compliance with site-specific safety standards and practices

Required

Valid driver's license for incumbents with transportation responsibilities
Zero or more years of experience as an electrician
Minimum 1 year of experience running and bending conduit (EMT experience required)
Drivers license required
Ability to perform fiber cable pulls (termination not required)
Comfort working at heights up to 150 ft
Basic knowledge of confined spaces and ability to use LOTO lock when applicable
Familiarity with fall protection requirements and aerial lift operation

Preferred

Experience with Sky Track or other large equipment preferred (training available)
Telecom or fiber optic experience is helpful but not mandatory
