Responsibilities
Assist with probate, trust, and guardianship administrations from initial consultation through closing
Prepare probate, trust, and guardianship documents and pleadings for client meetings and court filings
E-file pleadings and other documents through the Florida E-Portal and maintain organized internal files
Track deadlines, calendar key dates, and manage follow-ups on active matters
Monitor emails and correspondence to ensure professional and timely responses with clients, beneficiaries, financial advisors, and courts
Perform legal research on probate, trust, and guardianship administrations
Accurately track time entries and track billable hours
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in probate and trust administration and guardianships preferred
Florida paralegal registration preferred
Familiarity with Florida probate procedures, local court rules, deadlines, and court filings
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
