Responsibilities

Prepare and file quarterly (10-Q), annual (10-K), and other SEC reports (8-K, S-1, S-3, etc.) in compliance with SEC and U.S. GAAP requirements

Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits

Research and analyze complex accounting issues; prepare technical accounting memos as needed

Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, ASC 606, ASC 326) and communicate their impact to internal stakeholders

Monitor new accounting pronouncements and SEC developments; assess and communicate potential impact to the organization

Support the preparation of earnings releases and investor relations materials

Maintain and update XBRL tagging for financial statements and footnotes

Collaborate with internal departments (legal, investor relations, FP&A) to ensure accurate and complete disclosure in filings

Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance)

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2–5 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) or in a public company reporting role

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance
