Responsibilities
Coordinates job activities across different Engineering work-fronts to ensure consistent approach and delivery
Obtains inputs and technical information from senior engineers across multilple disciplines for use in completing tasks
Prepares and reviews project Engineering procedures to ensure alignment with Bechtel corporate and NS&E GBU procedures, client procedures, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards
Develops and presents training on procedures, miscellaneous policies and instructions for Engineering personnel
Identifies, prepares and reports project Engineering quality metrics and associated trends
Presents quality reports to Bechtel Management and customer personnel
Participates in project quality surveillances and audits
Coordinates Closed Loop Corrective Action (CLCA) program initiatives with project Engineering personnel
Represents Engineering at the project Condition Report Review Committee (CRRC) meetings
Promotes Condition Reporting and Lessons Learned programs, as available in DevonWay (or similar) application
Monitors timely closure of Engineering condition reports and associated actions
Issues Engineering quality bulletins
Communicates quality issues to the Engineering team in the form of positive feedback and lessons learned
Coordinates with client representatives, as required
Lead small task groups, as required
Qualification
Required
Requires bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 application suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
Current presentation skills, using PowerPoint and Power BI tools
Experience with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as NQA-1
Preferred
Preferred experience: commercial nuclear power plant or DOE nuclear facility
