Responsibilities

Ensure correct chemicals are being used and proper safety procedures followed
Use Personal protective equipment as required for each cleaning task performed
Follows correct lockout/tag out and safety procedures as directed for each piece of equipment
Ability to work with other shift members to complete cleaning assignments
Work safely with chemicals and ensure correct personal protective equipment is used
Able to follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
Follows all food safety and OSHA Safety guidelines; including USDA pre-op inspections and hold procedures
Reports to work when scheduled and on time
Maintains a positive attitude; creates an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork
Follows all food safety and OSHA Safety procedures
Sweep, spray and squeegee production floor
Dust ventilation ducts to ensure proper airflow
Report potential issues to management and maintenance for equipment function usage
Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene, dress and PPE
Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment when needed
Inspect each cleaning job performed to ensure it is properly completed and meets food quality assurance expectations
Ability to work under time constraints and be flexible in hours worked
Monitors and implements HAACP and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
Smiles and greets employees in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the center
Works from a written or verbal list

Required

High school graduate or equivalent education preferred
Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Must be able to be on feet (standing and walking) for 6-8 hours a day
Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
Must have the ability to read and understand simple math measurements
