Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research and have working knowledge of state-specific renewable and clean energy project incentive programs
Conduct in-depth research on current and anticipated renewable energy policies, regulations, project incentives, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and market trends at the state and regional level
Stay updated on new and pending dockets at state regulatory agencies, analyzing their potential impacts on client-proposed renewable and clean energy projects
Analyze the economic implications of existing and proposed renewable and clean energy policies and programs and provide data-driven insights for client decision-making
Prepare reports, policy briefs, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the firm’s attorneys and its clients

Required

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public policy, law, environmental science, energy management, economics, or a related field is required

A strong understanding of energy markets, renewable and clean energy technologies, regulatory frameworks, and project incentive program frameworks is necessary

Preferred

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, is beneficial
