The role involves collaborating with Category Managers and business leaders for the procurement of local goods and services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities
Maintain close relationships with local management to anticipate procurement needs and optimize costs
Identify local savings opportunities in collaboration with operations
Ensure global and local procurement policies and procedures are communicated to end users
Manage RFx processes in accordance with procurement policies
Track supplier performance and report results through KPIs
Support local businesses with goods and services agreements for plant operations equipment and parts
Ensure locally generated savings are tracked and reported per category guidelines
Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies and promote a culture of safety
Qualification
Required
5+ years in procurement, category management, sourcing, or operations
Exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and procurement best practices
Experience writing procurement contracts and understanding technical product lines
Advanced computer skills
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved PPE, including respirators, where applicable
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred (Business or Engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience
SAP experience preferred
