Responsibilities

Own the pilot process from kickoff to production. Work hands-on with internal audit and SOX teams to implement Midship, configure workflows, train users, and ensure they see measurable value
Partner with our AE sales team to run discovery calls and product demos. Translate customer pain into how Midship solves it. Speak the language of CAEs, audit managers, and SOX leads
Bring real customer feedback, edge cases, and feature requests back to the product team. Help shape what we build next

Qualification

Required

3-8 years in internal audit, SOX compliance, or external audit (Big 4 or equivalent)
Deep understanding of audit execution: testing procedures, evidence collection, workpaper documentation
Experience with SOX IT controls, SOC 1, or operational audit testing
You've lived the pain of manual audit work and can articulate it to prospects
Comfortable running demos, leading discovery, and presenting to senior audit leaders
Can translate product capabilities into audit outcomes that matter
Build trust quickly with skeptical, risk-averse buyers
Organized, responsive, and own customer success
Resourceful and figure things out without perfect instructions
Handle ambiguity and build processes from scratch
Willing to do whatever it takes to make customers successful

Preferred

Experience implementing audit software or GRC tools
Familiarity with SQL, Excel, or data tools
Startup experience
