The role involves full PnL ownership and oversight of corporate and operational accounting, with a focus on developing an effective accounting team and improving organizational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Ownership of the accounting function
Provide strategic insights and guidance in improving organizational efficiencies and profitability
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Lead a medium-sized team of finance and accounting professionals
Drive process and systems improvements
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
System implementations and other special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or a related subject
Active CPA license
10+ years of accounting experience
Private equity sponsored company and/or high growth company experience
Full ownership of the accounting function
Preferred
Technology oriented business experience would be beneficial
