Behavioral Health Office Administrator

Texas Care is dedicated to supporting individuals in overcoming mental health and addiction challenges through community-based programs. They are seeking a Behavioral Health Office Administrator to manage credentialing, billing, quality assurance, and provide administrative support while ensuring excellent customer service.

Mental Health Care

Responsibilities

Ensure all locations, staff, and franchisees are credentialed with insurance companies
Keep the Clinical Director updated on status and manage the credentialing software
Assist with submitting claims, tracking reimbursements, and resolving billing issues
Help ensure accurate payroll and track time off for staff
Perform audits to ensure billing and credentialing processes meet standards
Help resolve issues and improve processes
Answer calls, schedule appointments, manage client files, and assist with insurance verifications
Provide and cultivate activities within the community, to assist with marketing and gaining referral agencies
Help franchisees with credentialing and accreditation processes (TRAVEL MAY BE REQUIRED)
Provide topnotch service to clients and staff, making sure everyone feels valued and supported

Required

Education: A BA/BS in a human service field (Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, etc.) is preferred
Experience: Previous experience with credentialing, billing, and/or healthcare administration is a big plus!
Skills: Attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
Tech Savvy: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and billing software is preferred but not required
Flexibility: Must be comfortable with both administrative tasks and occasionally being available for support for our team and clients
Clean Background Check

Preferred

Education: A BA/BS in a human service field (Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, etc.) is preferred
Tech Savvy: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and billing software is preferred but not required
Bilingual preferred but not required
