Responsibilities
Review financial statements and any supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
Prepare clear documentation for internal and client review that can be easily understood
Acquire a working knowledge of the client's business and accounting systems, identifying risks and tailoring approaches to auditing accordingly
Conduct client audits, compilations, & reviews in accordance with firm standards
Proactively interact with clients and staff to gather information and resolve problems
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field
Candidates must have a general understanding of Microsoft Office programs
Candidates must be detail oriented and interested in pursuing a career in public accounting
We are looking for highly motivated team players who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exhibiting effective problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Preferred
Internship experience in the public accounting industry
Any working knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
