The intern will help in collecting receipts, performing account research, and managing mail extraction for efficient processing of payments.

Responsibilities
Assist in collection of premium and claim refund receipts received daily to meet the scheduled time frame for compiling, balancing, encoding and endorsing of all checks for bank deposits
Assist in performing account research to obtain current or prior payment history of premium receipts for accurate information to reconcile each account
Assist with the Opex Mail Extractor equipment for the sorting and manual extraction of mail to expedite the processing of daily group, individual premium and claim refund receipts
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or business-related field
2.5 minimum cumulative GPA
The ability to comprehend, document, calculate, visualize, and analyze
Strong mathematical and analytical reasoning skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and other applications
Preferred
Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or business-related field preferred
Cumulative GPA: 3.0 preferred
