Responsibilities
Collect and verify timekeeping data for all employees
Calculate employee pay based on hours worked, including overtime and leave balances
Process bonuses, commissions, and other special earnings when applicable
Manage payroll taxes, deductions, and withholdings in compliance with regulations
Initiate timely payroll payments via direct deposit or check processing systems
Maintain and update paper and electronic payroll records, including pay rate changes and employee status updates
Issue payroll statements, reports, and related documentation
Respond to employee and management inquiries related to payroll
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and variances
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management
Stay current on changes in tax laws, labor regulations, and payroll best practices
Coordinate payroll activities with Human Resources and Accounting teams
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data at all times
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar payroll-focused role
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and compliance requirements
Hands-on experience with payroll systems and advanced Excel usage
High attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to identify errors, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for employee and management interaction
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field
3–5 years of payroll processing experience
Required experience with ADP payroll systems
