Responsibilities

The lead tech will have a client-provided Chromebook
Lead will jump in daily meetings and provide instructions to the crew
The lead tech will need to update the BUGS (tickets ) every day before clocking out
Update us and ticket on how many fibers were done that day
We will need to follow the cabling and labeling standards
Inspect and clean fiber cables
Label cables on both ends with Flag Labeler
Install pre-terminated fiber cables according to Google provided cabling matrix
Utilize existing pathways and overhead ladder racks/ trays
Secure and organize cables
Provide the following onsite:
Fiber inspection probe
Labeler that prints flag labels
Fiber cleaning kits
Inter and Intra rack fiber
No backbone
Materials needed- will be reimbursed:
Chromebook laptops – client provided
ESD Safety shoe
Anti cut gloves
Brady Label maker
Brady label cartridge
Monthly subscription
Cable Velcro

Qualification

Required

Experience in data center cabling projects
Ability to inspect and clean fiber cables
Experience with labeling cables on both ends with Flag Labeler
Ability to install pre-terminated fiber cables according to provided cabling matrix
Experience in securing and organizing cables
Ability to provide onsite fiber inspection probe, labeler that prints flag labels, and fiber cleaning kits
Experience with inter and intra rack fiber installations
Ability to follow cabling and labeling standards
Ability to update tickets daily before clocking out
Ability to report on daily fiber work completed
