Sr Principal Technical Program Manager - Engineering Architecture

Responsibilities
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level
Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands
Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge in project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues
Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation
Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership
Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures
Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain roadmaps, setting appropriate expectations while maintaining standards
Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities
Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring others as needed/requested
Drive other obligations management duties, as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar
5+ years of experience as a member of a software development or product development team in cloud technologies
10+ years of experience as hands-on technical program manager; preferably in a related industry
Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services
Experience efficiently and effectively communicating findings/progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and the broader organizations, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment
Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn about new tools, software, and market opportunities quickly

Preferred
10+ years of program/project management, product design or related experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant technical field or equivalent work experience
Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking
Demonstrated knowledge of either OCI, AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services
Exposure working on GPU, GPU Infrastructure and Data Center design

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
