$20/hr - $21/hrChasepro Talent is seeking an Accounting Clerk for Casino Compliance & General Ledger. The role involves preparing monthly journal entries, performing general ledger oversight, and reconciling accounts and bank statements.
Outsourcing/Offshoring
Responsibilities
Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to billing and accounting activities
Perform general ledger oversight and respond to audit inquiries
Reconcile accounts and bank statements
Prepare financial statements , including:
Profit & Loss statements
Balance Sheets
Cash Flow statements
Assist with tax and regulatory filings
Provide support and guidance on cost accounting matters
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners
Perform detailed financial analysis using advanced MS Excel
Qualification
Required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial data
Good typing skills and data accuracy
Ability to follow written procedures and compliance guidelines
High attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must reside in the Las Vegas metropolitan area and attend in-person training
Must have access to high-speed internet for work-from-home
Office workspace with wired/Wi-Fi internet is available as an alternative
Preferred
Title 31 / AML or Banking experience
Auditing or Compliance experience in a casino environment
Experience in Casino Cage, Credit, or Casino Accounting
