Responsibilities
Inspect and classify component damage; determine appropriate repair procedures
Perform structural repairs and fabrication on cowlings, access doors, fairings, control-surface panels, ducting, and honeycomb/core assemblies
Drill, ream, countersink, dimple, and install solid & blind rivets, Hi-Lok, nutplates, and threaded inserts
Cold form dents and deformations in metallic components
Mix and apply sealants, aerodynamic smoothing compounds, adhesives, primers, corrosion inhibitors, and composite resins; perform limited touch-up painting
Operate brakes, shears, presses, stretch-formers, and rotary tools; use calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and CMM (as assigned)
Work strictly to SRM, CMM, service bulletins, and RS-DER instructions
Maintain tools and equipment; support one-part flow and 5S shop practices
Mentor and support Tech I/II team members
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years at Technician II level (or equivalent)
FAA Airframe License, Repairman Certificate, or military AST training/equivalent
Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, and 145
Demonstrated ability to perform sheet metal and composite structural repairs with minimal oversight
Strong commitment to safety, documentation, and teamwork
