The selected candidate will work with a multi-discipline team to produce HVAC mechanical and plumbing systems concepts, fire protection design concepts and perform HVAC mechanical and plumbing calculations.

Responsibilities
Meet with clients to represent mechanical (HVAC and Plumbing) for pharmaceutical projects
Oversee HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection
Assess project requirements and oversee project design to completion
Manage designers and budgeted hours
Work with code officials and other design professionals when there is an interpretation or exception to design standards
HVAC mechanical and plumbing calculations including load and energy / total cost of ownership analysis
Coordinate with other disciplines towards a comprehensive and coordinated product
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
15+ years Mechanical Engineering and Design experience (HVAC, utilities, fire protection, plumbing and related mechanical building systems)
5+ years experience within Life Sciences
Ability to lead a medium to large multinational team of designers and engineers
Ability to collaborate with the client and construction team
Preferred
A Professional Engineer License (PE) is highly preferred
