Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders to address high-leverage, high-visibility challenges throughout our Card business. Develop insights that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands

Present to senior management on learnings, opportunities, and proposed solutions. Leverage analytical storytelling skills to influence at the highest levels

Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations

Work closely with partners across Card to understand and address challenges across tech, credit, operations, and more

Invest in the development of peer analysts in your org, helping them to develop as storytellers, analysts, and business leaders

Required

Bachelor's Degree or military experience

At least 2 years of experience in Financial Analysis

Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity

Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise

Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals

A good understanding of Card database infrastructure and prior coding background (i.e. SQL, etc.)

Prior experience in FP&A roles is preferable

Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
