VP Quality and Risk Management
TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking a Vice President of Quality & Risk Management to promote growth and unlock possibilities. The role involves directing multiple facility-wide functions including performance improvement, patient safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, and infection control.

Responsibilities
Consult and educate management and hospital staff regarding all aspects of Quality and Risk Management (performance improvement, patient safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, and infection control)
Function as the Risk Manager and direct the clinical risk management program, including the functions of clinical risk management, claims management, and program administration
Provide counseling and education to facility leadership, clinical personnel, Board of Trustees, and medical staff members related to risk exposures including risk prevention and risk reduction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required (Nursing or Health-Related field preferred)
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required
5 years of healthcare experience required; clinical experience preferred
2 years of experience in quality management required
Prior supervisory and/or management experience required
American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS required
Broad knowledge and familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation requirements required
Preferred
Nursing or Health-Related field preferred
Clinical experience preferred
CPHQ and/or ASHRM preferred
Knowledge of PC-based computer software, i.e., Word, Excel, and/or similar systems preferred
