Assistant Manager Snack & Drink Events
Just Fare is building a just world where food is a force for social change. The Assistant Manager Snack & Drink Events will assist with planning, coordination, and execution of events and on-site activations across all Snack & Drink client accounts, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute Snack & Drink events and activations across client accounts (program launches, tastings, holidays, employee appreciation events, pop-ups)
Serve as the on-site lead for activations, managing setup, service flow, and breakdown
Create and manage run-of-show timelines for each event
Coordinate with the Catering team on events that include full food offerings beyond Snack & Drink service
Manage purchasing as necessary to include quarterly rotation of product, ensure accurate ordering, prep, and delivery
Align event details with Account Managers to ensure client expectations are met
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for Snack & Drink events
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients before and during activations
Represent Just Fare positively and consistently in all client-facing interactions
Support as point of contact for all S&D client requests
Help staff, supervise, and support hourly event and Snack & Drink service staff as necessary
Provide clear direction on-site and ensure service standards are met
Support training and onboarding related to event execution
Partner with S&D leadership team on communication, training, and guidance of site teams to execute on S&D events and all S&D programming
Proactive, hands on flexible attitude to support team when and where needed to execute on challenges in the moment
Ensure all events meet food safety, workplace safety, and company standards
Participate in QC and presentation standards across all S&D programming for clients (ie regular stocking sets, coffee services)
Maintain consistent Just Fare branding, presentation, and service quality
Flag operational issues and improvement opportunities to Snack & Drink leadership
Qualification
Required
1+ years experience in client facing, account coordinator, events coordinator or similar role
3+ years experience in a warehousing or route delivery preferably in a food operation with a passion for food and people
Experience training, managing in shift activities and tasks for self and others
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, communication and patience
Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
Strong attention to detail and high level of customer focus
Attendance and punctuality is required with schedule flexibility determined by needs
Ability to be a self-sufficient problem solver and make sound decisions on-the-fly
Basic Food Handler Certification
Knowledge of safety and sanitation
Basic understanding of workplace communication tools (such as Slack, Google Drive - Docs & Sheets, Asana, etc)
Basic understanding of online inventory systems
Smartphone needed for daily communications
Must be able to lift up to 80lbs repetitively, load and unload products from vans, pallets
Must have Valid Driver License needed, and ability to drive and park cargo vans in the city
Preferred
Experience with stocking and merchandising is a plus
