Responsibilities

Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements

Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action

Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution

Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc. in accordance with GDIT’s procurement process and compliance standards

Ensures high internal customer satisfaction

Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

Required

2 + years of related experience

US Citizenship Required: Yes

Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of supply chain experience In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience

Microsoft Office Suite

Must have exposure to supply chain

Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data

Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently

Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process

Preferred

1+ year experience in supply chain, government contractor, and/or government regulated procurement

Experience in enter commodity procurement
