They are seeking a Test Engineer Controls to validate propulsive controls, develop verification methods, write automated test scripts, and support test execution while demonstrating results through data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software primarily in vehicle, with potential for Hardware-in-the-loop testing also

Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA

Store and retain documents and test records according to established Client guidelines

Implement new or updated design verification methods (DVMs) into the validation process

Develop automated analysis and reporting methods

Maintain test scripts in the version control system

Required

1+ years' experience in automotive embedded systems software

Experience with calibration methodologies and tools (ATI Vision and ETAS INCA)

Experience with CAN networks and OBD systems and demonstrated ability to utilize related tools (CANalyzer, PTDiag, etc.)

Bachelor's Degree

Testing – Test - Must be capable of performing normal driving procedures on public roads in various conditions and in all Client produced vehicles; If/when issues or test failures arise must be able to assist with root cause determination

Jira – Ability to submit/update Jira issues
