Responsibilities
Quantify how well our page-structures and site-layouts are performing, and identify clear routes for improving website design and flow
Create experimentation frameworks and deploy test-and-control methodologies to find the right product positioning, website-copy, and cross-item flows
Understand the customer conversation funnel from beginning to end, tracking CAC / LTV / Conversion / Retention for our shoppers
Create quantitative segments for our Consumers and our Products, enabling better targeting, stronger merchandising organization, and more efficient marketing
Design a new generation of dashboards and tools, bringing transparency to ecommerce performance dynamics across the full customer journey
Transform simple metrics like clicks, views, and visits into financially interpretable size-of-price metrics, allowing the business to optimize ecommerce strategy day in and day out
Fulfill ad-hoc research and analytic requests across a wide variety of domain spaces and present core insights to stakeholders and business leaders
Qualification
Required
Deep ecommerce experience
Experimentation-driven mindset
Ability to create models, tools, and dashboards
Experience in website optimization
Experience in A/B testing and creating experimentation frameworks
Understanding of marketing analytics and customer conversation funnel
Ability to create quantitative segments for consumers and products
Experience in dashboarding and reporting
Ability to transform metrics into financially interpretable metrics
Ability to fulfill ad-hoc research and analytic requests
Ability to present core insights to stakeholders and business leaders
