Process Engineer
EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity, offering a range of services from satellite television to mobile plans. The Process Engineer will support the launch of new products and processes, develop timelines, create installation procedures, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities
Supports launch of new product and processes
Develops timelines and follow up on assigned tasks
Creates processes for installation projects utilizing supplied instructions and creates installation procedures utilizing current tools, electrical equipment, components, systems and instruments
Reviews operational processes and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and product quality
Assists in planning and implementing research methodology and procedures related to In Home Services (Dish installation) projects
Performs time studies and identify work pattern solutions with physical hardware
Data mines databases and spreadsheets to track performance and identify treads and opportunities for improvement
Reviews current databases to measure identified variables and outputs of the products
Takes part in preparing and analyzing technical drawings, specifications, and maps to ensure installation, operations, safety standards and customer requirements
Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish processes, installation and maintenance standards and specifications
Writes technical instructional documents
Recommends new and/or enhancements to existing processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience
Ability to organize and prioritize using effective problems solving
Advance knowledge of Google Office Suites - Docs, Sheets & Slides
Knowledge of electrical components and process controls
Must be familiar with root cause analysis and data collections methods
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers in a professional environment
Ability to work in a team environment with Account Managers, Trainers and Field Installation Technicians
Knowledge of time study and analysis
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers
Ability to use a computer, collect data, define problems, establish and analyze facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to effectively present information to management
The ability to read, analyze and interpret safety rules, company policies, OSHA and process SOE's
Flexible work environments from an office to the roof of a commercial building
Individuals must be able to lift 45 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Preferred
One to three years of experience in an industrial engineering environment is a plus
Knowledge of OSHA requirements is a plus
