Northrop Grumman is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student in a STEM Field for an internship opportunity. In this role, you will perform duties contributing to mission and/or space vehicle engineering activities, supporting the development and testing of space payloads and spacecraft.

Responsibilities

Perform duties contributing to mission and/or space vehicle engineering activities

Support and/or be responsible for developing requirements, design, integration, development or testing of space payloads, spacecraft buses, satellites, human-rated spacecraft, or satellite servicing vehicles

Generate and flow down customer requirements to hardware and software designers

Develop innovative system architectures

Implement advanced algorithms involving sophisticated signal processing and data processing techniques

Integrate and test finished hardware and software products

Required

Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing a bachelor's/master's degree or higher from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026

Be majoring in or having majored in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree

Be available to work full-time on-site (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026

Be a U.S. citizen

Preferred

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher

Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
