Subcontracts Management Specialist III

Responsibilities

Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems
Prepare bid packages
Develop evaluation criteria
Analyze and evaluate proposals
Negotiate subcontract provisions
Select or recommend new subcontractors
Administer subcontracts
Administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and Cost Reimbursable (CR) Fixed-Fee
Participate and lead moderate negotiations of terms, price, and schedule
Monitor subcontractor performance

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred

The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
Experience working in CostPoint or other ERP systems
Proficiency in oral and written communications
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSSP, CPM, etc.)
