The role involves installing and programming security systems for residential customers, providing customer service, and ensuring proper alarm functionality.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Install and program burglar alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and access control systems for residential customers
Install window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors
Troubleshoot signal issues and ensure proper alarm functionality
Perform daily on-site customer interactions and provide exceptional service
Test and verify equipment signals
Train customers on system use and connectivity
Complete all required paperwork and cost reporting for each job
Maintain accurate truck inventory of products
Achieve 90% installation goal with zero “go-backs”
Qualification
Required
Experience with alarms, security systems, CCTV, IP cameras, low-voltage wiring, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with cable installation, crimping, wire wrapping, and construction basics
Ability to work with tools and perform installations in residential environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, adaptable, and solution-oriented
Ability to read non-verbal cues and instill customer confidence
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric attitude
Reliable personal vehicle required
