ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER I, RESOURCES AGENCY

Caltrans District 3 is part of the California State Parks, dedicated to preserving the state’s natural and cultural resources. The Administrative Officer I will supervise administrative functions, assist with purchasing, manage fiscal programs, and support the State Park Peace Officer Supervisor with various administrative tasks.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Provides supervision for the admin functions of the Four Rivers Sector office for all classifications
Assists with purchasing utilizing a State Procurement Card and contracts for the Four Rivers Sector staff and manages the sector’s Fiscal Program
Maintains records and files for sector operations
Offers supervisory assistance to the State Park Peace Officer Supervisor and supports with approving timesheets, creating schedules, training, performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions as needed

Required

Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment
Candidates that believe they meet the Minimum qualifications based on a pattern of education from the classification description (specifications) must provide a copy of your degree/transcripts and/or license along with your application (STD. 678) to be considered for this position
If selected for the position transcripts will be required prior to appointment
Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available)

Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)
The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL)
