Responsibilities
Lead first-line oversight of technology and technology-dependent vendors
Own vendor governance, segmentation, and lifecycle management
Oversee vendor due diligence, onboarding, performance monitoring, and renewals
Partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, and business teams
Manage vendor risk, incidents, remediation, and concentration risk
Support audits, regulatory exams, and executive reporting
Lead and develop a small vendor management team
Qualification
Required
10+ years of IT vendor management experience within financial services
Strong knowledge of third-party risk management and regulatory requirements
Experience managing SaaS, cloud-based, and API-driven vendors
Ability to assess cybersecurity, data privacy, and operational resilience controls
Strong stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills
Preferred
Familiarity with IT control frameworks (SOC, NIST, ISO) a plus
