Responsibilities
You’ll underwrite a diverse, profitable book that’s roughly 85% casualty-focused, with a large portion centered around Construction/Contractors and Manufacturing/Product Liability
There is also property and professional liability risks as well
You’ll be out in the field a couple days a week connecting with local agents/brokers and building direct relationships as well as having the pen to underwrite from your home all while having strong support from a home office that has your back every step of the way
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Commercial Lines Underwriter
Ability to underwrite a diverse, profitable book
Experience with casualty-focused underwriting, particularly in Construction/Contractors and Manufacturing/Product Liability
Ability to build strong relationships with local agents/brokers
Ability to work independently and make smart decisions
Strong communication skills
Experience in a remote work environment
