Responsibilities
Receive requests from Marina staff in person, over the phone, or via email regarding boat status to understand and prioritize current needs
Provide on-site marine service at assigned customer locations
Provide service dockside or at a maintenance facility
Work under tight deadlines to ensure boats are ready at rental time
Diagnose engine performance, rigging, controls, and gauges, using test equipment and laptop diagnostic software
Provide maintenance services to Mercury products and related boat hardware to factory specifications
Keep detailed Service Logs
Safely and properly operate equipment (i.e., trucks, tractors, trailers, and boats) to perform boat and engine rigging, de-rigging, and boat launching and removal
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner
Work weekend day(s) as part of a 5-day schedule and able to rotate days off as schedule changes

Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 to 4 years servicing outboards, stern drives, rigging, and boat repair required (can include training/school time)
Ability to diagnose and repair marine engines, drive, rigging, controls
Computer literacy and experience with M.S. Word/Excel required
Preferred
Experience in customer service is a plus
