Responsibilities
Metallic and Composite Structural Analysis Engineer – Position requires experience in metallic structural analysis methods and documentation, detailed analysis procedures, load paths, load distribution, sizing, fittings/fasteners/joints/splices, acoustics/vibration familiarity, structural integrity plan, design criteria, stability, crippling, durability analysis and finite element modeling of structure
Desired skills include familiarity with layout sizing, and structural integrity evaluations
Qualification
Required
Basic qualifications for an Engineer Structural Analysis include a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 2 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with no years of experience
Basic qualifications for a Principal Engineer Structural Analysis include a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 5 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience, or a PhD Degree
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret clearance
Preferred
Previous experience performing structural analysis on the F35 Program, and familiar with the Lockheed Martin tools such as IMAT, IDAT, and PDM
Experience in finite element analysis/modeling techniques, including manipulation of large finite element models
