Responsibilities
Lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact
Serve as the primary strategist, ambassador, and business leader of AMLE
Strengthen the organization’s financial sustainability and diversify revenue streams
Elevate the relevance and accessibility of its programs
Ensure that AMLE remains the premier source of research, resources, and support for educators of young adolescents
Qualification
Required
Experienced in leading organizations, preferably in the education sector
Strategic thinker with a proven track record of organizational growth and impact
Strong people-centered leadership skills
Ability to strengthen financial sustainability and diversify revenue streams
Experience in elevating program relevance and accessibility
Proven ability to serve as a primary strategist and ambassador for an organization
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel regularly (20%)
Preferred
Experience with membership organizations
Familiarity with the needs of educators serving young adolescents
Background in nonprofit management
