TAX ADMINISTRATOR II, EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
The Employment Development Department is one of the largest State departments in California, dedicated to connecting job seekers with employers. The Tax Administrator II will oversee the Accounting and Compliance Enterprise System (ACES) Resource Section, responsible for planning, staffing, and directing operations to support system users and ensure effective training and communication regarding ACES functionalities.

Responsibilities
Provide oversight of the Accounting and Compliance Enterprise System (ACES) Resource Section
Plan, staff, organize, and direct through subordinate managers
Work independently and collaboratively with Tax Branch management and staff, Information Technology Branch partners, vendor staff and contacts from stakeholder organizations within and external to EDD
Actively participate as a member of the ACES Leadership Team, ACES Management Bureau Team, and Tax Support Division (TSD) management teams
Support Branch workload management, revenue realization, data security, and related customer support services to internal and external ACES users
Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of training to 3,300+ ACES system users
Develop and support training necessary to ensure that Tax Branch staff and other non-Tax Branch users have the skills needed to use the ACES
Develop and maintain fundamental ACES training, and support for development of division and program-specific training
Oversee the development and maintenance of ACES on-line Help and procedures functionality
Develop staff resources needed to maintain the ACES Resource Center (Help Desk) for ACES users
Manage all ACES related communications for the Branch's ACES users to support critical information sharing on system changes, enhancements, and functionality

Required
Must obtain list eligibility by taking and passing the examination
Must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov. All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position
