Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants (CCC) has been providing top-notch cardiovascular care in the Tampa Bay region for over 50 years. They are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to join their cardiac electrophysiology team, where the role involves assisting during EP procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist electrophysiologists during EP procedures, including catheter placements, ablations, EP studies, and cardiac device implantations
Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and understanding
Monitor hemodynamic and ECG data in real time, identifying arrhythmias and alerting providers as needed
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced EP lab equipment, including mapping systems, stimulators, and ICE technology
Maintain accurate, timely procedure documentation and uphold all regulatory and safety standards
Support emergency response actions during complications and participate in rapid interventions when required
Collaborate with CCC cardiologists, nurses, anesthesia team, and fellow technologists to ensure smooth procedural flow
Participate in ongoing training and continue to advance skillsets as EP technologies evolve

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Strong ECG interpretation skills and foundational knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient‑care abilities

Preferred

RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
1–2 years of EP Lab experience preferred; advanced experience highly valued
