Lakeside Behavioral Health System is a premier provider of specialized behavioral health and addictive disease services in the Memphis and Mid-South region. The Business Development Representative is responsible for establishing strong relationships with clinicians and hospitals to generate referrals for behavioral health services and to maintain a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives.

Responsibilities

Establish strong relationships with clinicians, hospitals and other agencies that refer patients in need of behavioral health services

Participate in the Account Management system, assessing the needs of the customer and making the required number of marketing contacts to each account

Develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives

Plan events, provide tours, perform referral source in-services, act as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital, and seek out new business development opportunities for the hospital

Required

Associate's degree required

Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting

Preferred

Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or Marketing/Business preferred

LPC, LCSW, LMSW, RN or LPN preferred

Prefer knowledge of the Memphis and Southwest Tennessee behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency diagnoses & symptomology, age specific programming
