The Senior Project Engineer or Architect will oversee the full lifecycle of complex projects, ensuring structural integrity and providing mentorship to a dedicated team.

Responsibilities
Lead and train a dedicated team of Senior Project Managers and PMs to ensure technical excellence across all deliverables
Supervise investigative surveys of roofing, glazing, and waterproofing components to identify deterioration and water infiltration. Review and approve comprehensive reports featuring technical recommendations and cost estimates
Review drawings and specifications for new construction projects via redline markups. Lead high-level meetings with clients to discuss comments and coordinate action items
Coordinate and lead the generation of building envelope plans, elevations, and details. Generate and review technical specifications in Microsoft Word
Direct bid-phase assistance, including pre-bid meetings. Provide elite construction supervision, leading progress meetings and generating site observation reports
Lead meetings to discuss expectations and results of field performance testing related to the building envelope, while supervising the teams performing the testing
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) is highly preferred; however, candidates with an exceptional technical background and equivalent industry experience are encouraged to apply
A minimum of seven (7) years of dedicated building envelope consulting experience
A 4-year Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, engineering, or a construction-related field
High proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience acting as the primary point of contact for new construction peer reviews
Experience serving as the lead designer for roof replacements and window/wall repair projects
Proven success in providing high-quality construction phase project management
Preferred
IIBEC Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) or Observer (RRO)
IIBEC Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC) or Observer (REWO)
IIBEC Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC) or Observer (RWO)
