Consulting
Responsibilities
Assists with the planning and design of upgrades and expansions for water/wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, sanitary sewers and water distribution systems
Performs field data collection and condition assessments and provides on-site services during construction and startup
Contributes to studies and reports on water and wastewater treatment processes and alternatives
Applies engineering principals to develop solutions and evaluate performance and life cycle cost of municipal infrastructure improvements
Creates drawings and models following the company’s design standards and utilizing the designated CAD or modeling software with limited guidance
Assists with the preparation of technical reports, plans, specifications, and supporting documents
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
Ability to accurately perform calculations to support detailed design recommendations
Good communication skills with the ability to write technical reports and actively participate in project meetings
Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members from multiple offices
Valid driver's license is required
Preferred
M.S. degree is preferred
EIT is desired
Coursework and experience (internship or co-op) with emphasis on one or more of the following areas: wastewater treatment, water distribution, water treatment, or hydraulic modeling
Experience with AutoCAD (Civil3D), Revit, InfoWater, Biowin and/or GIS is desired
