CNC Machine Operator - Weekend Shift (Part-Time)

Metal Craft and Riverside Machine & Engineering is a precision machining company committed to providing custom precision manufacturing and innovative services. They are seeking a part-time CNC Machine Operator to operate various CNC machines and perform machining operations as defined in job routings.

Responsibilities

Could be trained on a variety of different machines depending on workload. These machines may include Vertical Mills, Horizontal Mills, Swiss, and Turning
Reads and understands blueprint, job routings, setup sheets and standard charts for such specifications as dimensions and tolerances
Must be able to run more than one machine where cycle time permits
Perform Quality Control Characteristics documentation of tolerance zones specified on blueprints
Inspect parts using tools that include, but are not limited to micrometers, calipers, vision systems and height stands
Operate milling/turning machines with supervision
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct

Required

0-1 years of experience in a similar position in a machine shop and/or training
Ability to read blueprints
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities
