Commercial & Industrial Sales Rep

Hall’s Culligan Water of Wichita is seeking a driven Commercial & Industrial Sales Representative to deliver customized water treatment solutions to businesses. This role involves consultative selling, business development, and relationship management to enhance client satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Consumer Services

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site water analysis and system evaluations to identify customer needs
Recommend tailored solutions including softening, filtration, reverse osmosis, deionization, and purification systems
Demonstrate ROI through reduced chemical usage, maintenance costs, and extended equipment life
Proactively generate appointments through cold calling, networking, and lead follow-up
Manage territory with approximately 60% of time spent in the field
Identify and pursue new commercial and industrial opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, facility managers, and business owners
Follow up with customers after installations and service implementations to ensure satisfaction and retention
Prepare, present, and close proposals for commercial and industrial projects
Perform pre-call planning to maximize productivity during peak selling hours
Meet and exceed sales goals for volume, margin, and revenue growth
Perform water testing and usage analysis to uncover all revenue-generating opportunities
Attend Culligan sales training and obtain required licensing within 90 days
Remain compliant with company policies, regulatory standards, and vendor requirements

Required

2–5 years of B2B or commercial outside sales experience highly preferred
Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close complex sales
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Interest in or understanding of water treatment, filtration, or industrial systems
Comfort using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time independently
Willingness to self-study water treatment solutions outside normal working hours
Team-oriented with a strong customer-first attitude
Flexible to occasionally work late hours or weekends during startups or service issues
Valid driver's license in good standing
Ability to drive up to 6 hours per day
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
Successful completion of criminal background and drug screening
Obtain Culligan Sales License within 90 days of employment
